'Elaine Davidson catches the heart and soul of her audience with a gentle smile and the sheer poetry of her lyrics and guitar playing". The Cumberland News
'...a spell binding performance'         John Green Keswick Reminder

Elaine Davidson
is one of Cumbria's finest singer/songwriters. She began her musical life in St Mary's church choir in Wigton, and by the age of eighteen she was busking around the capitals of Europe paving the way for what would gradually steer her toward a successful songwriting and solo career.
She wrote and produced her first CD at home. The album, Inside, was well received and led to her strong associations with two of Cumbria's respected festivals Ireby and Solfest.

2010 saw the release of her second album Moon & Tide produced by Steve Brookfield and featuring multi-instrumentalist Danny Hart. The album launch took place on board the Ullswater steamer, The Lady of the Lake, which was the perfect backdrop to her beautiful songs Galloway the Fair, the enchanting Lady of the Lake and the moving Foxes of Cumberland.  Elaine is a prolific songwriter and often introduces new songs in her performances.

The normal format is a duo with Danny Hart but solo and trio performances are options. Elaine is cost effective too as she can provide her own high quality P.A. system for smaller venues.
